i'm sooo happy today!
the britax marathon carseat is here!

i bought it like about 2 weeks ago, when i heard britax gonna increase their price by June 1, 2008. I was browsing like crazy to find the cheapest deal on that britax that day, because sooner or later I'll need that car seat; now for mas aksan in the second car and later for the upcoming baby.

the britax marathon car seat is a convertible car seat. newborn baby can use it, from 5 lbs (app.2,27kg), rear-facing of course. and when they hit 1 year old and 20 lbs (9.09kg), you can turn it forward-facing, until they hit 65 lbs (29.54kg).

the pattern I ordered was cowmooflage, the exact same pattern I ordered for mas baby aksan a year ago. actually not just the pattern, but the new car seat is the exactly same item. hehehe.. I just dont want him to be confuse to switch between car seat and car. the pattern is unisex. so if the second baby is a girl, its not a big deal to use this car seat.

i do recommend this car seat to anyone whose looking for fine car seat. My baby aksan look so comfortable from the first time I put him on it. did he ever refuse to sit on the car seat? of course he did! but I think its normal, because its like just 1 from 10 times. please dont ask me bout the price. the price is quite "decent", and i have to save money to buy it, but i think its worthed because of the comfiness. but if you're lookin for a car seat and this car seat's price is over your budget, dont buy it! the best car seat for you and your child is the one you both can enjoy. no, not you, but your wallet! hehehe..

anyway, i bought this car seat also because this car seat is FAA approved. its certified for aircraft travel, so our kids can use this on the plane. especially when they're to big for a bassinet, which we usually can borrow from the airlines.

I want my kids to sit on the car seat while we're on the go, at least until they are 5-6 years old. I dont know if I'll buy booster seat for them, I consider to buy it though.. hehehe.. I want them to be save!. although I realize, death will come to anyone, sooner or later, but Allah ask us to did some effort, rite?
